Do I need a reservation?Yes, a reservation is required to enjoy the thermal experience. It may be possible to come the same day without a reservation, but entry to the site cannot be guaranteed if our capacity limit has already been reached.

How does the Thermal Experience work?The design of the Thermal Experience is to cycle through 3 stations: Hot, Cold, Relax. Throughout the facility, there are different options for each station. You can mix and match as you cycle through them. We recommend: Hot. 10-15 Minutes. (Infratherapy or Finnish Sauna) Cold. 30 Seconds to 2 Minutes. (Cold Shower or Plunge) Rest. 20 Minutes. (Meditation Room, Hammocks/Outdoor seating area, Lounge) Then repeat 2 to 3 times to fully integrate the benefits. Also enjoy our outdoor Mineral Warm Pool.

What should I bring?We provide bath towels, lockers and bathrobes. You must bring your bathing suit and sandals. We recommend that you bring a reusable bottle (no glass container); a water station is available on site. We also suggest you bring reading material, sunglasses and sunscreen in summer. In winter, also bring a toque and a blanket. Note that our Lounge is offering healthy food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Is there a minimum age requirement to use your services?Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat is an inclusive environment. However, we only accept children 6 year old and above. Please note that our Infratherapy sauna is considered safe for children, but keep an eye on them. Other restrictions may apply, contact us for more information.

Can pregnant people come to the center?Unfortunately, the thermal experience is not recommended during pregnancy.

Is the thermal experience accessible for people with reduced mobility?Yes, our facilities are accessible and adapted for people with reduced mobility. All on one level floor *Pools do have stairs with railing.

Are showers mandatory?A passage through the changing rooms and a shower before enjoying the pools and saunas are mandatory for everyone.

Is it possible to speak on the site?Silence is mandatory in the pools, saunas and relaxing facilities. On the other hand, it is possible to speak in a low voice in the Lounge.

Is it possible to have access to a wifi network in your facilities?In order to promote relaxation, no wifi network is available for our customers. All electronics ex. Cellphone, picture/videography are strictly prohibited.

Can we drink alcohol?No, it is prohibited to drink alcohol in the facility and pools for sanitary and health reasons. The hot temperatures in pool and saunas quickly dehydrates the body and this could be dangerous during the thermal cycle. We recommend you bring a water bottle so you can stay properly hydrated.

Can we eat on site?Our Lounge is at your disposal for the purchase of healthy snack options and refreshments. Please note that no food from outside can be brought on-site.

Do I need to be a thermal cycle guest to access the Lounge?Yes, our Lounge is reserved for thermal cycle guests only.

Is there a time limit to enjoy the facilities?We ask you to respect the arrival time that appears on your booking confirmation. Once on our site, you can stay for the allotted time you have reserved. Please note that it is not possible to leave the thermal experience and return to it.

What is our cancellation policy?Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or a missed visit leaves a gap in the schedule that could have been filled by another guest. This is why we ask for 24 hours notice for any cancellation or modification to your appointment. Guests who notify less than 24 hours in advance, or who miss their appointment, will be charged a fee equivalent 50% of the price of the thermal experience.

What payment methods are accepted?Online- We only accept payment by credit card and gift card redeem. Onsite- We accept cash, debit, credit and gift card payments.

Health TipsIt is important to stay hydrated throughout your experience. Two water stations are at your disposal, one near the changing rooms and one in the sauna area to fill your reusable bottle. It is important to listen to your body and respect its limits. It is strongly recommended that you consult your healthcare professional before visiting us if you suffer from any specific health conditions such as heart problems, hypertension/hypotension, diabetes or respiratory problems. Sauna use is not recommended if you have any of the following conditions : fever, aortic stenosis, unstable angina pectoris, severe orthostatic hypotension, if you have had a recent heart attack, or if you have hives or an oozing rash.
