Guest Liability Agreement
You are filling out this agreement on behalf of yourself and any other guest included under your reservation. If you wish to release your responsibility towards other guests coming with you, you must inform Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat by email (info@jolievie.ca) at least 24h before the appointment and provide them with the following information: - your name, date and time of reservation - name and email address of additional guests Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat will then forward this agreement to additional guests listed. Your responsibility towards other guests will only be released upon reception of their signed contract.
Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat Dress Code
Wearing a swimsuit is mandatory.
To avoid injuries, wearing sandals when walking around in our facilities is mandatory.
Wearing a bathrobe or a shirt is required when entering the Wellness Lounge.
The use of a towel is mandatory when sitting inside saunas and lounge chairs/hammocks.
I hereby understand and accept the dress code policy.
Code of Conduct Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat
For privacy reasons, the use of cellular phones, including taking photos, and videos, or using it as a reader, is not permitted on-site. You are asked to leave it in your car or locker.
Please respect the silent zones (saunas and rest areas) and whispering zones (everywhere else, including changing rooms and Lounge).
Please be mindful of other guests. Do not leave your personal belongings on any chair/hammock when enjoying other areas of the thermal cycle.
At Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat, we have chosen to adopt a 100% smoke-free outdoor environment policy throughout the grounds. Smoking, vaping, or being under the influence of drugs or alcohol is prohibited.
No outside food or drinks are permitted on-site.
The credit card used to confirm your booking in our reservation system will not be charged unless Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat has to apply its cancellation policy. Therefore, remember to bring a method of payment on the day of your visit to cover your fees.
By leaving the site, even temporarily, your visit will be concluded.
Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat reserves the right to ask guests to leave the premises if our policies are not respected, without compensation. This can lead, in some cases, to a ban on future access to the site.
Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat Health Recommendations
The site is reserved for people of all ages. That being said Jolie Vie is not responsible to watch your children. They must be accompanied at all times.
The thermal cycle experience is not recommended during pregnancy.
It is strongly recommended that you consult your healthcare professional before enjoying the thermal experience if you suffer from any of these particular health conditions: heart problems, high blood pressure/hypotension, cancer, diabetes, or breathing issues.
If you have any contagious diseases or active skin conditions, you are asked to refrain from visiting our facilities.
Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat Liability Waiver
Weather conditions being out of Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat control, no financial compensation will be offered if pools, saunas, or other facilities are temporarily closed. Please note that these decisions are made for your safety.
I understand that the Provider does not provide medical treatment but provides services for my own sense of well-being and relaxation. For and in consideration of the Provider offering me wellness services and the use of the facilities , I agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk: I understand that using the Center’s facilities and undergoing wellness treatments provided by the Provider involves risks and dangers that could result in personal injury, death, property damage, or loss. I also understand that such injury or loss may be caused or contributed to by the negligence or carelessness of others. I acknowledge and assume these risks and any resulting personal injury, death, property damage, or loss.
Waiver and Release Liability: I discharge, undertake not to sue, and hereby release the Provider, its related companies, employees, representatives, agents, officers, and directors from any claims, costs, demands, causes of action, and liability of any kind whatsoever for personal injury, death, property damage, or loss that I may now or in the future have, known or unknown, which in any way results from or arises out of or in the course of my use of the facilities or receiving a wellness treatment or treatments offered by the Provider.
Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the schedule that could have been filled by another guest. As such, we require 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Guests who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a fee equal to the total amount of 50% of the thermal experience rate to the credit card used to make the reservation.
Gift cards are non-refundable and do not expire.
Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat - Refund & Satisfaction Policy
Once a service, session, or facility access has been used, completed, or partially attended, refunds will not be issued.
If a guest is unsatisfied with any aspect of their experience, we encourage them to bring concerns to our staff immediately during their visit, so we can attempt to resolve the issue in real time.
Jolie Vie Wellness Retreat is designed to be a peaceful space, but some ambient noise from guests or staff may occur. We do not issue refunds based on noise levels.
Outdoor areas may be affected by weather conditions, natural elements, or seasonal factors. Guests should take appropriate precautions when using outdoor spaces.
By booking a service or visit, clients acknowledge and accept these conditions.
If a chargeback is filed after a completed service, we will dispute it with evidence, including check-in logs, security footage, and signed agreements.
Clients who issue unwarranted chargebacks may be restricted from booking future services.
